Word of the Day
Saturday, April 14, 2007
Demeanor (noun) – Deportment; the manner in which a person conducts herself; the way in which a person behaves; a person’s manner

Word in a Sentence: (I’ve lifted today’s sentence straight out of Choices Meant for Gods.) The loneliness made her unsure, but she resigned herself to accomplish the task before her, and Kaylin’s excited demeanor at least made it less trying.

Your turn! We’re done with our Old English Concept Week, which is a shame, but you can earn some bonus points with The Dragon if you can compose some Anglo-Saxon verbiage with today’s word.

“Some days, I just want the dragon to win.”

How would you explain my demeanor?
Your book has a five star rating on Amazon, looks like the dragon is ahead.

Kelly,
Your demeanor sounds like mine: a little on the excited side!

I'm thrilled with the fact that people have read Choices and liked enough aspects of it to say nice things in their reviews.

Thanks for stopping by The Dragon!
