Word of the Day

Vomitory (adjective) — vomitive (now how's that for descriptive? It actually means "to induce vomiting" like nauseous); (noun) — something that induces vomiting (gross!); an opening that something is discharged through (gross again!); (and here's the one that surprised me) it's one of the passageways that the Romans used in their amphitheatres to get from the outside wall to the bottom of the seats – now how bizarre is that name for a passageway like that?!?

Word in a Sentence: In the fantasy novel Choices Meant for Gods, the ryfel that attacks Nigel and Chariss in the training arena is so foul, so stinking, so vile, so disgusting that the sight of its dead and steaming corpse is vomitory to those who rush in to see it after Chariss hacks it to death. (bwuahahahahahaha)

Your turn! If anyone is still their normal color and not green and vomitive…ugh…can you come up with any creative and gross sentences with our Word of the Day today? There should be a prize for the grossest one. I'm traveling so I won't be able to do anything about a prize for at least a week, but let me see what I can figure out. Bwuahahahaha again.
