Or...I wanted to update you on another guest Rowena Cherry added to our lineup since the earlier posting!
"Are you Bear Aware? Mother's Day is also the start of National Bear Awareness Week...and why not? Bears are great mothers, too! This May 11, from 9 to 11 p.m. Eastern, authors Carrie Masek, Sandy Lender, Cynthia Eden, Angie Fox, Lise Fuller, Charlee Boyett-Compo (and perhaps a surprise guest) join Rowena Cherry to promote awareness of bears and any other large, scary, hairy (or otherwise) creatures that inhabit the woods...or our romantic imaginations."
If you've followed along at Today the Dragon Wins, you know that the fantasy novel Choices Meant for Gods includes plenty of scary monsters that crept from my imagination--ryfel, edras, The Dragon Julette herself. Yesterday I re-posted the "deleted" scene of poor Charlotte Anne in the Rochest Forest... Many a legend from the days of old began deep in the forests where our forefathers dared not venture for fear of the unknown. Tomorrow night, we authors of the paranormal and speculative fiction in general can creep you out a little further with hints and whispers of scenes we've created with that "unknown." Tune in to PIVR online to hear what we've got in store for you.
Here are the instructions to listen in: http://www.internetvoicesradio.com/
To clear up some confusion, I'll read an excerpt from Choices Meant for Gods, not the forthcoming Choices Meant for Kings. (If you're interested in reading an excerpt from Choices Meant for Kings, stay tuned to this blog for announcements.) You can follow along if you have your own copy. Download the eBook now at http://www.archebooks.com/BookIDX/Indexes/Fantasy/CMG/CMGDesc.htm. Or sprint to the nearest Barnes & Noble to see if it's still on the shelf.

Sandy,
Lise Fuller was on the original line-up, but we quickly discovered that Lise would be a much better "fit" for the Saturday 17th show about military heroes.
Next Saturday is Armed Forces Day. Lynn Hardy, who collects and sends novels to soldiers stationed overseas will also be gracing that show.
Tonight's line up is: Carrie Masek, Sandy Lender, Cynthia Eden, Charlotte Boyett-Compo, Angie Fox, and yours truly, the host,
Rowena Cherry.
I was hoping to get "Bear" Grylls... but, alas, that would have been a very long shot!
Thanks for clarifying that Rowena! I was beary surprised to see my name. (Okay, couldn't help myself. I know, I know--I should have tried harder.) However, I must say Smokey the Bear will always be one of my heroes.
~ Lise Fuller

Hi there, Ladies,
Ah, yes, I saw her name on the original "release." Lise, I'm sorry I won't get to chat with you on the show tonight, but maybe another time.
I'm intrigued by your work sending novels to the soldiers overseas!
I look forward to speaking with you tonight, Rowena!
Sandy L.
