Word of the Day

Oooh, another ominous day...Luckily, the government's letting ya'll file taxes tomorrow because there's no mail pickup today. (I filed a couple weeks ago because I'm a freak like that.)
Imperious (adjective) – Dictatorial (like a dictator), overbearing, dominating, domineering (from Latin imperium)
Word in a Sentence: In my novel Choices Meant for Gods, Julette’s imperious demeanor begins to grate on her evil partner’s nerves because he wishes to be the commanding force in the war to dominate Onweald.
Your turn! What dominating sentences can you think of today?
“Some days, I just want the dragon to win.”

My kids have long thought I am imperious; the step-granddaughter has joined those ranks too. But my son keeps telling her that the person I am today is a much calmer edition of the dictator I was when he was in his teens.
