Word of the Day

Golgotha (noun) – A place of suffering; an occasion of agony; a place of burial (from Aramaic gulgultha meaning skull – the shape of the hill where our Lord was sacrificed was in the shape of a skull, thus its name, Golgotha, and its purpose have given us this word in modern English)
Word in a Sentence: You know, folks, there just aren’t any that do it justice.
But you are welcome to try. For newcomers to The Dragon, each day, I offer visitors the chance to write their own sentence with the Word of the Day. What inspirational or grateful or amazing sentences could you come up with today?
“Some days, I just want the dragon to win.”

John 3:16--what else do you have to say?
No way to figure out how to use that word for today -for me - because there's nothing else that conveys anything remotely similar to what it signifies to Christians I guess. Sandy -check out this blogger on my favorites list though - Cariboo Ponderer - for her comments on Good Friday. As a Christian, I think it will give you an excellent read.
