An Arthur C. Clarke Entry for Your Writing Journal
Or...The Dragon mourns more than his death today
"All good things must come to an end."
We can celebrate the writings and life accomplishments of Arthur C. Clarke, the scientist and science fiction author who passed away this morning at the age of 90, but I fear we must mourn his death on many levels. The creative mind is gone, yes, and I invite you to journal about that, if you're one of those writers who finds an outlet in journaling. But I find myself saddened by the fact that his religious convictions (or lack thereof) weren't just easy sci-fi tripe for marketing and fictional mayhem, but were grounded in true hopelessness.

Now there's something worth journaling about.
"Some days, I just want the dragon to win."
